Botto Giuseppe e Figli Spa has been producing fine yarns and fabrics since 1876. Today, the fourth generation of the family is managing an international company, one of the world’s most prestigious brands and a flagship brand of “Made in Italy” that has the best luxury clients in the world.
Through the years, we have kept all production operations based in Italy in a rare and unique example of vertical manufacturing. All washing, combing, spinning, dyeing, warping, weaving and finishing are done in our factories.

We maximise our efforts towards sustainable research and development in every area: our products; our ethical, social and environmental policies; and heavy investments in renewable energy sources have improved our environmental performance.
Tarcento
The Cascami Seta factory in Tarcento, in the province of Udine, was built in the early 1900s. The family bought it in 1985. The nearby Crosis waterfall, annexed to the property, provides hydroelectric energy to power all production activities for the company. Solar panels supply the rest of the factory’s energy requirements. This factory is self-sufficient and the excess energy that it produces is released on the grid.

The company’s historical headquarters were built along the Strona River: its pure waters are the essential element for obtaining fine textile products of excellent quality.
We have invested to make our systems efficient and reduce our environmental impact to obtain low CO2 production and energy savings.
